The full demo releases!
At last we arrive at the completed demo. I know it doesn’t look like much, but I’ve been working on this on and off for the better part of six months at least, and it will serve as a solid foundation for the game going forward. So for one final time in this demo, I’ll rattle off all the stuff that’s changed:
>The entire interrogation has been revamped, because Oxygentleman finally managed to get it through my skull that the old format was terrible. Instead of using the number keys, there are now buttons that lock and unlock based on clues.
>Audio has been refined, and some failsafes have been put in place to make sure the correct sounds play at the correct times.
>The Conductor’s animations have been properly synched up, and thus run much more smoothly.
>A few more bugs have been fixed, including a number of bugs that kept the dialogue box up longer than it was supposed to be, and one that kept a clue from being discovered and thus the game from being fully completed.
As for what I’ll do now? I plan to take a step back and refine some of the full version’s overall structure now that I’ve got the time before I go ahead and code it all, but that’s for sometime in the future. Before then, Oxy and I have been planning out a little something we’d like to work on together, so do keep an eye on this page if that interests you!
